Spearheaded by Emlyn Pietersz (Sworn Tourist Guide / Area Specific Interpreter, Affiliate member of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations) this group offers a comprehensive Jewish Heritage tour. Departing from your point of stay, an expert guide will first take you to Beth Haim Bleinheim cemetery, followed by the new Jewish neighborhood of Mahaai. The guide will also point out Shaarei Tsedek, the new Ashkenazi Synagogue. On special request we can also visit this synagogue. Landhuis Bloemhof is next on our list to visit. Then we are ready for the ultimate highlight of this excursion, when we head to the Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue, the oldest in constant use of the western hemisphere. We follow this superlative with a visit to the adjacent Jewish Cultural Historical Museum.
